Tadaima ただいま | Sake Omakase

Introducing a new style of tasting from The Koji Club. On Sundays in January, we will be closing the bar to share a unique tasting experience. This is the opposite vibe of our suitcase series. "Tadaima" ただいま means "I’m back home" and in this context, I have spent some time processing my travels in Japan (twice in the past year and about to go back) at home in our favorite little bar and have shared my notes, ideas and stories with my most trusted collaborators.

In this coursed tasting, we will play with pairings, both food and other beverages to share comparisons and to provide a unique tasting experience. A true omakase, as we will be choosing for you, but with the sake taking the lead instead of food. We are looking forward to learning with you.

This tasting is 90 minutes and will include an otsumami (sake drinking snack) to accompany each glass and will featuring beverage pairings by whisky + tea expert Ren Wheeler of rite. Yes, we are pairing sake with tea and whisky. We love beverage pairings.
