Summer 夏

Dear Club Members,

We finally made it to summer. Do you remember when there were so many feet of snow on the ground? This season is exactly what we dreamed of. Personally, I was dreaming of sake spritzies, flower yeasts, and natsu nama. I looked forward to junmai daiginjos that tickle the tongue, lush yamahai perfect for grilling, and that special bottle of "Bride of the Fox" that tastes just like a pint of perfectly sweet ripe sungold tomatoes.

Cheers to beach days spent with salty watermelon, which will surely draw you to the bar for a glass of "Infinite Summer" by Tensei. We are counting down the days until the sunflower fields bloom, best enjoyed with a glass of Amabuki "himawari," which is like drinking a handful of sunflower seeds. Please enjoy every drop of these sunny sips of sake while we can. After all, sake always seems to taste a little better with a summer tan…
